EFC 2010 Brecht, Belgium  Left to Right Andy/Abi Jeannette/Gemma Chelsea (BL) Jackie/Cassie Emma/Tag Chris/Brooke & Jake Sonya/Ben & Ted Laura/Dot  What a fantastic time we had at this years Euro champs! The Venue was great if not a little tight in the camping areas and had a  lovely atmoshere all round.The weather was fabulous albeit too hot (32 degrees throughout the day) for the dogs to achieve their best times, however we did watch the european record being broken by one of the Belgium teams 'Jolly Jumpers' which was a fantastic run pulling off a time of 16.11 early on in the speed trials.  The support the british teams gave each other was absolutly fantastic with us brits definately being the loudest around the arena.We took two teams with us on the trip the 'Star aces' and 'Shooting High.' Both our teams were in the first division and did extremely well considering we had a few teething problems in the speed trials. Our change overs were some of the best yet and were commented on outside the ring by several spectators after the racing. The Star Aces came fifth in an eight team division and raced the top European teams including those from Belgium, Germany and the UK. The Shooting High team came eight after a very couragous effort and having to jump full height after losing thier height dog before even arriving in Belgium.  Cant wait to do it again, next year the champs will be held in Germany and we are hoping to take a much bigger team along with us next time around.
